The Walla Walla Valley Baseball Club (WWVBC), which oversees the Bears, Bruins, Griz and Travel baseball programs for up to age 10, hosts free fall camps on three consecutive Sundays – September 26, October 3, and October 10 .
Youth from the Walla Walla Valley ages 10 to 18, interested in improving and learning their baseball skills, as well as participating in scrimmage games, have the opportunity this fall with three practice sessions.
14-18 year olds will have a session on these days from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 10 to 13 year olds from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Both sessions will be held at Murr Sports Park on Abbott Road and Fern Avenue.
Registration opens Monday, September 13 at clubs.bluesombrero.com/wwvwabaseballclub.
These clinics aim to serve a wide variety of experience levels – those with extensive baseball training to those with limited exposure to the game. The skills will be taught by coaches with experience at the college, high school, and high school level. club.
Camp participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the Walla Walla Valley Baseball Club teams for athletes aged 10 to 19 competing in 2022, as well as the winter indoor training programs of the club.
The Walla Walla Valley Baseball Club supports the Walla Walla Valley and Pacific Little League programs. WWVBC’s efforts are not intended to replace or compete with the Little League experience, but to provide additional travel opportunities for players to continue to develop in the game. In addition to skill building, players will have the opportunity to play with and against their friends in controlled scrums.
