VIDEO: Construction of the Cowboy Baseball Stadium

Construction on O’Brate Stadium, Cowboy Baseball’s new home, began earlier this year, and significant progress is being made on the complex at the corner of Washington Street and McElroy Road.

Scheduled to open for the 2020 season, the resort will feature approximately 3,500 permanent seats, 13 suites and 400 premium seats in dedicated club and suite areas. Seats can be expanded to 8,000 as needed.

Among its many features, the complex will include:

  • A “training triangle” area consisting of an indoor facility, a throwing lab and an artificial turf infield that allows the Cowboys to train year round, regardless of the weather conditions , without having to use the main playing surface of the stadium.
  • A 7,400 square foot locker room and players lounge as well as a nutrition center and tiered classroom.
  • An operations center that houses a sports medicine area, a modern weight room, and a baseball-specific laundry and equipment room.
