Calfee Park to host college baseball games in the spring

Calfee Park has partnered with two neighboring colleges to host a slate of spring varsity baseball games during the month of April. Roanoke College will play three games over two days, and the WVU Institute of Technology will also play a trio of games over two days. The full program is below.

Information for fans attending Roanoke College games:

Roanoke College will not charge admission fees. The entrance gate to the upper pavilion will open one hour before game time, and all parking areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The lower historic entrance will not be open for these events. All available seats will be first come, first served. Certain sections of the park may be marked off for these events; Calfee Park asks fans to respect barriers and only occupy seats open to the public.

Dealerships will not be open for these events. Outside food and drink is permitted, but coolers, alcohol and glass are strictly prohibited. This will be enforced. Calfee Park reserves the right to restrict any outside food and drink brought into the facility at its discretion.

April 29 | 3 p.m. against the University of Rio Grande [Relocated to Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, W.Va.]

April 30 | 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. doubleheader against the University of Rio Grande [Relocated to Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, W.Va.]
